Actor and producer, Prince David Osei, is calling on all Ghanaians to strengthen their prayers to help battle the novel coronavirus.
According to him, people across the world are dying and prayer seem to be the only way out during this battle with the COVID-19.
“At the end of the day, I think this one is more spiritual, because you don’t see the virus but somebody tells you, you can get it.”
“Lately people that are getting it are not showing signs so how do you know someone has it, so personally I think this is the time to pray,” he told JoyNews’ Doreen Avio.
His statement comes after President Akufo-Addo declared Wednesday, March 25 a national fasting and prayers day.
“Whilst we continue to adhere to these measures and wrap up our efforts to defeat this virus, I urge all of us also to see the face of the Almighty,” he added.
Prince David also during his interview urged Ghanaians to also follow the precautionary measures suggested by health officials while they seek to God for help.
He said that prior to the President’s ban on large gathering he and his colleagues on set took steps to ensure people on set are protected.
“Most of my colleagues are using the social media platform to educate the fans and the followers and tell them to stay safe, no matter what happens we all need to take the precautionary measures,” he said.
