The projected price offer by government for the purchase of sugar cane from farmers to feed the just inaugurated Komenda Sugar Manufacturing Factory poses a great risk to making the facility a viable entity if immediate measures are not put in place to ensure constant supply of raw material (sugar cane) to feed the factory.
2, 487 JOBS CREATED IN FIRST QUARTER - GIPC
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has attracted 39 newly registered investment projects into the country at an estimated value of $249.49 million between January to March representing the first quarter of 2016. The 2016 first quarter investments are expected to create a total of 2, 487 jobs.
