Chairman of the Black Satellites management team Winfred Osei is calling for an inquisition into the dwindling and inconsistent performances of the Black Satellites at the Ongoing Africa Youth championship in Senegal.
The Black Satellites set up a semi final clash with Nigeria at the ongoing African Youth Championship after finishing second in Group B following a 1-0 loss to Mali in the final group game, Sunday afternoon at the Stade Caroline Faye stadium in Mbour.
Mali Skipper Ichaka Diara headed home a corner in the 18th minute to hand the Malians the only goal of the game.
The Black Satellites struggled on the day as they created just three chances in the game and Winfred Osei told JOY Sports in an exclusive interview that he is worried about the team's declining performance.
"It's quite disturbing specially when you look at the scale of performance."
"In the South Africa game we were good, against Zambia we dipped deeper and we dipped even deeper, and am beginning to question what it's happening to the team in terms of development because you cannot play so well in your first game and dip in form in that manner " he said.
"There will be a need for us to talk to the technical bench to find out the way forward ,but as it is now am not seeing my way clear".
Ghana are seeking a fourth African Youth Championship title after winning it 1995,1999 and 2009.
