UBA Ghana Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), has embarked on a social impact programme to help communities by teaching them various skills.
The programmed tagged Each-one, Teach-one (E1T1) took place at across the country in the various regions where UBA Ghana operates.
The programme was held to commemorate the 2019 edition of its annual Each-One-Teach-One initiative in Ghana and across other subsidiaries in Africa.

Among the activities engaged in by the staff included reading clinics, donation of books, entrepreneurship skill development, decorations, creative drawing, talks on career guidance among others.
Mr. Isong Udom Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBA Ghana was full of praise for the staff who despite their busy schedules volunteered themselves in order to impact the society.
He noted that UBA through the foundation has decided to give back to society and impact the lives of the communities where they operate as good corporate citizens.
Udom said, “the objective of this initiative which is the second year is to help the underprivileged and young children to learn vocational skills, to assist them on a path for financial freedom.”
UBA Foundation is committed to the socio-economic improvement of the communities in which the bank operates, focusing on development in the areas of Environment, Education, Economic Empowerment and Special Projects.
