Executive Chairman of Universal Hospitals Group, Mr Samuel Patrick Oduro on Friday, January 31, unveiled his memoir chronicling a lifetime of sacrifice, service and achievements at the company’s head office at Dzorwulu in Accra.
The ceremony was witnessed by medical practitioners, and business personalities including the current CEO, Mr Frederick Amissah.

The celebrated Ghanaian entrepreneur and Executive Chairman of Universal Hospitals Group Limited (UHGL), unveiled the memoir, "A Royal Son of Boadua: Memoirs of a Ghanaian Healthcare Entrepreneur."
This inspiring book takes readers on a captivating journey through Mr Oduro’s life, highlighting his transformative experiences, pioneering achievements, and unwavering dedication to Ghana’s healthcare landscape.

Born at Boadua in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Mr Oduro’s career spans several decades and diverse industries, including international banking, financial analysis, data analytics, and, ultimately, turnkey healthcare construction and project management. His memoir provides a firsthand account of his rise from humble beginnings to becoming a visionary leader in the healthcare sector within the subregion.
Set against the backdrop of Boadua, New York, and Accra, the memoir chronicled the journey of a young, ambitious entrepreneur determined to revolutionize healthcare in Ghana and beyond . With a heart full of compassion and a mind driven by innovation, Mr Oduro dedicated himself to improving lives through quality healthcare infrastructure and services.

His journey was not without challenges. Sleepless nights, personal sacrifices, and countless obstacles tested his resolve. Speaking during the launch Mr Samuel Patrick Oduro paid a glowing tribute to his business partners who have supported him on his way to the top.
He disclosed that part of the proceeds from sales of the book will be used to support the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School at Boadua.

He advised the youth to buy the book to inspire them in every step of their lives.
Samuel Patrick Oduro warned businessmen and women against getting involved in politics because it has the potential of destroying their businesses, adding that this situation prevails everywhere in the world including Ghana.
He urged businesses to keep their political affiliations out of the public domain.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the event Prof Kofi Nti praised the author for writing the book and urged people to read the book carefully and pick up vital lessons.
