The campaign team of Mr Gabriel Adovoe Kwablah Kwamigah, an aspirant for the Volta Regional Council of State slot, has dismissed allegations of his involvement in a $7 million gold fraud scandal, describing them as baseless and part of a deliberate smear campaign.

According to the campaign team, Mr Kwamigah has never been convicted of any fraud-related offence, insisting that such reports have no legal or factual basis.

The team emphasised that the aspirant is a respected businessman who has built his reputation and enterprise on integrity, transparency, and adherence to both national and international trade laws.
