Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur is scheduled to meet later today with striking doctors who are protesting the government's sluggishness in addressing distortions that arose in their allowances following their migration onto the single spine salary structure.
The striking doctors are currently only attending to emergency cases and in-patients and have served notice they will withdraw all services if government does not resolve their complaints.
The National Labour Commission has called the strike illegal.
More soon.
