The workout of WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko was disrupted Thursday morning by comebacking former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs.
As Wlad was having his hands wrapped by assistant trainer Aldo Vetera, Shannon stopped by the Heavyweight Factory Gym in Hollywood, Florida. Briggs was calm and collected at first, but then he started going off on Wladimir.
Shannon then ripped off his shirt and told Wladimir that he’s been fighting bums all his career and challenged Wlad to fight right then and there. As he was being held back, Briggs threw his shoe at Wlad, striking him in the chest.<p>
