Next to perform was Harriet Fafali Fynn and she treated fans to Stella Dugan’s ‘Daa Daa’ song. Her costume was a sight to behold and she was well received with a round of applause by the fans. At a point, one of the judges said she thought it was Stella herself singing the song.
Aba Afrema Abakah took up the mantle to showcase her highlife style by performing Kuami Eugene’s ‘Ohemaa’ song featuring KiDi.
Next up was Kalanziah Lum Fru-Assah who to stormed the stage with veteran highlife act Awura Ama Badu’s ‘Medofo Adaada Me’ song.
Nsoromma kid Enoch Karikari brought back memories of late highlife singer, Daasebre Gyamenah when he stepped up the podium to exhibit his talent. Wearing a blazer sewn with African prints, Enoch seemed unfazed about the crowd. Even the judges testified about his vim and demeanour and his key with regards to the rhythm of the live band action was on point.
The bar went up for Dorothy Baffoe Aikins but she calmed down the atmosphere with Becca’s ‘Beshiwo’ song. Her African costume caught the attention of many. Her voice, undoubtedly, has the original Becca quality. There is a higher chance Ghanaian singer Becca would watch the video of Dorothy emulating her.
Fans in Takoradi were happy to watch their contestant Erica Asiedu Arthur perform on the Nsoromma stage. She didn’t disappoint and wowed them to veteran highlife Amakye Dede’s ‘Asem to Mea’ song and that did the magic for her – people could hardly ignore the highlife groove. The rest of the first 10 were Millicent Asomaning who sang Kuami Eugene’s Walaahi.
Victor Afriyie also gave off a spectacular one with Afriyie Wutah’s ‘Love of My Life’ song.
The last to end the show was Queenmiracle Agongo. Hailing from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, she performed Akwaboah’s ‘Number 1’ song. Queenmiracle stunned Akwaboah wearing the similar clothes he wore for the original song video shoot.
