According to the legislator, he had reported a case of money laundering to the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).
He said people were sharing money in the constituency few days to the elections.
The MP also lamented limiting the elections to delegates alone contributed to his defeat.
According to him, he is very popular in the constituency and if the polls were open to all party members – like it was in 2015 – he would have maintained his candidature.
