Ghana Women's Premier League champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, recorded a convincing win in the opening game of the Wafu B CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers on Sunday, August 21.
Goals from Elizabeth Owusuaa and Mavis Owusu added up to an own goal from the opposition as they beat Burkina Faso's USFA.
Owusuaa opened the scoring just ten minutes into the game before Mariam Ouattara slotted into her own net before the half-time break.
With just a minute until full time, Owusu put the game beyond the reach of the Burkinabes as the Ghanaian champions sealed a 3-0 win.
The Techiman-based side will face Bayalsa QFC in their next group game on Wednesday, August 24.
Nigeria's Bayalsa QFC defeated Athleta FC in the other group game with a 5-0 score to go top of Group B.
