Sarpong Boateng, who is a member of the WAFU U-17 Local Organising Committee (LOC), met the Williams brothers in Cape Coast on Friday.

Inaki and Nico Williams are currently in Ghana for the summer holidays as they look to reconnect their roots. There have also been widespread reports that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is trying to convince the brothers to switch nationalities.

Both brothers grew up in Spain but are eligible to represent the Black Stars through their Ghanaian parents.

Boateng is currently in Cape Coast for the WAFU U-17 tournament to help with the organisation and bumped into the Williams brothers at the Ridge Royal hotel.
