J. Cole has a fan in Danielle Fishel!
The Boy Meets World alum, was left starstruck when introduced to the rapper backstage at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival, and the sweet moment was captured on video.
Fishel shared a clip from the encounter on Instagram, which begins with her walking through a hall at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena when someone says, "Danielle, I think J. Cole's coming." The actress let out a gasp before proclaiming, "It is J. Cole!"
Fishel then walked in Cole's direction after being asked if she wanted to say hi and expressed how much of a fan she was of the performer's music.
"I have to say hi to you. I went and saw your show in L.A.," she said. "Unbelievable, I'm such a big fan." After the two share a hug, Cole replies, "Me too, likewise. Good to see you," and Fishel continues to walk down the hall with husband Jensen Karp and costar Will Friedle with a big smile on her face.

One fan wrote, "Omgg this is so cute." Another fan made note of how Cole previously showed how he was also a fan of Fishel by mentioning her in his 2013 track, "Villuminati." The song includes a line referencing Fishel's Boy Meets World character, Topanga Lawrence, in which he raps, "Boy Meets World / I’m tryna find a new Topanga."
The actress has been looking back at her experience on the show with costars Rider Strong and Friedle on the Pod Meets World podcast. At the festival, she chatted with PEOPLE about the hesitations she first had when starting the podcast.
“We were worried we might ruin the show,” she said. "We don't want our criticisms or our critiques or our experiences to in any way change what your opinion of the show is. They're just our honest opinions, and we can't do it if we're not going to be honest.”
