The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has expressed confidence in the party's chances of victory in the ongoing elections.
Addressing party agents during a press briefing, he urged them to remain vigilant and committed to their duties as the election process continues.
Mr. Frimpong emphasised that while the NPP is optimistic about winning, the work is not over until all votes are counted and officially declared.
He reminded party agents of their crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process, stressing the importance of monitoring proceedings diligently.
“Our confidence in victory is high, but we cannot afford to relax. The real work is ensuring that the votes are protected, counted, and declared accurately. I urge all our party agents to remain vigilant and proactive until the process is fully concluded,” he stated.
The General Secretary also lamented the lower-than-expected voter turnout in some areas and encouraged Ghanaians to actively participate in shaping the nation’s future.
He appealed to all eligible voters to cast their ballots before polling closes, noting that every vote is vital to securing a democratic outcome.
