Wife of rapper Sarkodie, Tracy, has revealed that there was a perception about rappers, back in the day, being womanisers.
Because of this perception and some other factors, Tracy said her family was unwilling to approve of her relationship with the 'Lucky' hitmaker.
“My family didn’t understand why 'university girl' like me would date a rapper,” the entrepreneur wrote on Twitter.
However, Tracy said she had to stand her ground if she wanted the relationship.
“I was the one in the relationship not them so I wasn’t going to let them choose for me,” she added.
The two manged to date for about 10 years then tied the knot in July 2018.

Tracy made this revelation in a question-and-answer-session with fans on Twitter.
She also addressed several questions including how she handles her husband’s fame.
"I have to share him with everyone. And most people feel more entitled to him than me sometimes… Amansan property, especially during the holiday season when you’re supposed to spend time with your family."
