Global Afrobeat star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has apologized for not showing up at his live concert in Ghana on December 10.
On his tweeter handle, the international singer said he will not make such a decision without any reason behind it.
The “Bad to me” hitmaker explained that his decision not to show up was well-informed.
“Ghana is a country I hold so dear to my heart, first and foremost I wanna apologise to all my fans!
Y’all know I would never do anything, without a serious reasoning behind it.
“My brand is something I don't joke with! I sincerely apologise to everyone who made the effort to come out to me last night. I was charged up, looking forward to doing this show. However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honoring my fans and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right to do and I had to," he tweeted.

Wizkid concluded that his team is working hard to deliver a show for his amazing fans in Ghana.
The details, he said will soon be communicated.
The Nigerian singer was supposed to perform at a live concert at Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana on Sunday, 10th December 2022.
However, despite the massive turn-up of fans, the afrobeat singer refused to be present at the concert. This made most of his fans disappointed.
Nonetheless, Live Hub entertainment, the organisers of the event in a statement said the artiste breached a contractual agreement for failing to show up at the concert.
Live Hub entertainment assured patrons of a full refund of fees.
