The Ghana Football Association will put the country's allocation of World Cup tickets on sale on December 6 with a mad rush expected for the few available.
KickOffghana.com understands world football governing body Fifa has made 2700 tickets available per group game for Ghana fans but the GFA is hoping it can do a deal to gain special dispensation for the supporters unions.
Ghana will only discover her group opponents when the World Cup draw is made on Friday but there is huge interest in the tournament with many fans keen to travel to South Africa.
And in a country where visa requirements can be as stringent as they come, many football fans view the ticket as vital in convincing embassy authorities that they deserve to be on the flight to South Africa.
The GFA is likely to employ an online application system on their official website and a lottery system to determine who gets the tickets.
