Farouk Aliu Mahama, Chairman of the Government Assurances Committee of Parliament and Member of Parliament for Yendi, has praised the Akufo-Addo government for significantly improving the road network in the Yendi constituency.
He emphasised the positive impact of these efforts on local infrastructure.
At a committee meeting on Tuesday, July 16, where Roads Minister Francis Asenso-Boakye appeared before the committee, Mr. Mahama expressed his satisfaction with progress made.
He acknowledged the government's commitment to enhancing road networks and urged continued efforts in this direction.
Mr. Mahama stressed the importance of extending these infrastructure improvements to other regions that have yet to fully benefit.
He called on the government to ensure that all areas receive their fair share of development projects.
He pointed out that robust road infrastructure is crucial for the country's development and praised the government's achievements in this sector.
Mr. Mahama encouraged sustained investment in road construction to further boost national growth and connectivity.
In response, Roads Minister Francis Asenso-Boakye welcomed the commendation and assured the committee of the government's ongoing dedication to improving road networks across Ghana.
