Some 14 police officers are being forced out of their quarters within a fitting workshop at Adabraka, a suburb of Accra.
They have up to the end of this month to vacate the property for nonpayment of a two-year rent allowance.
The landlord of the facility, Atiemo Allotey told Joy News’ Michaela Anderson that his patience had run out and needed his property.
He was tight lipped about the accrued amount owed him. Mr. Allotey intends to demolish the property for other use.
Michaela also reported of unkempt environment with waste plastic materials scattered all over.
The Police Administration, Myjoyonline.com has learnt, is yet to delve into the matter.
