About 140 students on Sunday graduated from Cake Tekniks International, a privately-owned modern cake designing and sugar craft institution, during its graduation held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The graduands were awarded diploma certificates in cake, floral and balloon decorations at the event held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Peace Acquaye, chairperson for the occasion admonished the graduands to live by the motto of the institute which encourages students to make the world a better and sweeter place.
She further advised them to put into practice the skills they have acquired from their training.
The occasion, a real festival of cakes and cuisines of intricate designs, saw the graduands exhibit such great culinary and decorating skills to the amazement of patrons, family and friends who thronged the Conference Centre.
A visibly elated principal of the institute, Mrs Jane Addo told the graduands to be proud of themselves and explore all the skills acquired from the school as they go into full or part time decorations and cake designs.
She disclosed that the institute’s goal is to reach to greater heights and provide Ghanaians with products that will bring joy to homes, be it at weddings, parties or other ceremonies.
