Nsoatreman FC ended their run of four consecutive defeats by beating Legon Cities 3-1 on Sunday in match week five of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League at the Nana Kromansah Park.
The win moves Yaw Preko’s team to eighth place on the league table with six points from four games, while the Royals remain at the bottom with just one point.
Legon Cities have drawn only one match and lost the other four games this season.
The home side took the lead ten minutes into the game through Richard Acquaah’s strike.
Nineteen minutes later, Walid Fuseini doubled the lead for the Nsoatre-based club, setting them on course for victory.
Anokye Morrison extended the lead by scoring the third goal five minutes before halftime.
Midfielder Mohammed Alidu scored a consolation goal for Legon Cities in the first minute of added time.
