Ezekiel Kwame Alladoh scored a 94th minute equalizer for Accra Lions in their 1-1 draw away at Karela United.
Lions were keen to bounce back after defeat in their matchday 2 fixture against Vision FC, but started poorly, conceding halfway through the first half through Najeeb Fuseini.
Karela, buoyed by the goal, continued to search for the second but Lions held on tight till halftime.
Ibrahim Tanko's came out for the second half with renewed vigor, and went close on a couple of occasions but the goal eluded them.
The game looked set for a Karela win, before substitute Ezekiel Alladoh struck at the death to deny Karela all three points.
Accra Lions Head Coach, Ibrahim Tanko, was happy with the determination his side showed in the second half.
“We had a bad first half but came back strongly in the second half.
“We believed that we will score and the goal eventually came. I think it was a deserved result,” he said.
The results takes both teams to 2 points on the league table, still winless in their opening three league games.
