Ghana has recorded 67 new cases of the novel coronavirus, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Despite the new infections, the number of active cases has seen a consistent decline and stands at 1,380 as of April 6, 2021.

The GHS, however, puts the number of recoveries at 89,044.

Meanwhile, the cases of some 28 persons are severe with 10 others in critical condition.

No casualty was reported in the said period leaving the death toll at 752.

So far, 91,176 cases of Covid-19 has been confirmed since March 2020.

The Service’s website further indicated that 681,211 vaccines have been administered so far as part of measures to curb the spread of the virus.
