Seven more persons have died from the novel coronavirus disease according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
This brings the country’s death toll to 206.

The service’s website also indicated that 436 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed, bringing the total tally to 40,533.

These are from samples that were taken from July 17 to August 4 but reported from the lab on August 5, said GHS.

However, 37,702 persons have recovered/discharged.
The country’s active cases currently stand at 2,625.
