Wearing T-Shirts, the colour of blood, protesters ooze slowly through Accra central streets, taming motorists to pay attention to their placards.
‘We are suffering, Kum Y3n preko’, ‘Free NAM1’ and predictably ‘incompetent government’. Someone was simply unhappy that the Kasoa polyclinic, although completed, has not been opened for use.
Menzgold customers who have now become experienced in the art of protest also joined.
“We are not here to joke”, an organiser of the disappointed customers who wants their monies back after it got locked up in a Ponzi scheme, said.

They brought in their members from Tarkwa and Takoradi in the Western region and Kumasi from the Ashanti region, he told JoyNews’ Roland Walker.
The march began at 9am beneath the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange at Circle. It is organised by a pressure group, Coalition for Social Justice, backed by the opposition National Democratic Congress.
