President John Mahama will Wednesday morning host a meeting of implementing countries, GAVI Alliance Partners, donors, civil society and vaccine manufacturers in a midterm review of the work of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI Alliance).
The full-day meeting will be co-hosted by the Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation, Hillevi Engström.
President Mahama arrived in Stockholm, Sweden, venue for the meeting on Monday night. While in Stockholm, the President will also meet with key officials of the Swedish government, visit some key Swedish industries arranged by the Swedish government and attend a luncheon in his honour.
