Musician Wendy Shay has described the question about her net worth as unnecessary and unworthy of an answer.
The Rufftown signee came under heavy criticism after her interview with TV Africa went viral.
She was condemned for her posture in answering the questions on what she has gained a year after signing onto Rufftown records.
The ‘Masakra’ singer simply said she needed to go online to find the answer.
Reacting to her numerous critics in a conversation with JoyNews’ MzGee, Wendy said she did not find the question appropriate and worth an answer.
“I didn’t think it was necessary for me to answer it so, that is the answer I can give now,” she stated.
Asked if she thought her answer to a question she deemed “unnecessary” was appropriate, the leader of the ‘shay gang’ only insisted “I just said that but then it doesn’t mean that I have to go check.”
