Budding music talent, Peter Famiyeh Bozah known as Fameye, says one’s craft is not enough to keep him or her relevant.
According to the ‘Nothing I get’ singer, it is important for an artiste to generate conversations that will cause them to constantly be in the news.
However, Fameye disclosed he will only engage in publicity stunts that are positive and undamaging to his brand.
“I think publicity stunt is kind of relevant. Observing the Ghanaian music industry, you need to make news and other stories. Personally, I think the positive ones will be the best.”
“I will not associate myself with a negative publicity stunt. If it is necessary, I will do it [publicity stunt] but it wouldn’t be negative,” he stated.
Fameye joined blogger Kobby Kyei, actress Kisa Gbekle and media personality Yazzi on the Gee Spot with MzGee on Joy Prime, to deliberate on publicity stunts in showbiz.
Gee Spot with MzGee airs Saturdays at 6.30pm on Joyprime and DStv 281.
