A communications company, Meridian Infotel has launched its new product, fixed cellular terminal router. The product allows customers to channel all their mobile and international phone calls via a GSM gateway using an areeba corporate SIM card. The cellular phone industry has seen significant growth, with the number of subscribers exceeding landline subscription by a ratio of 13:1. The total number of national mobile and fixed line subscribers is currently pegged at 4,300,000 and 330, 00 respectively, with companies’ monthly telephone bills predominantly recording landline to mobile phone calls, increasing expenditure.
