The Chief Executive Director of Stanbic Bank, Alhassan Andani, has revealed he spent the first three years at the company working to improve urban transportation.
Speaking on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM, Wednesday, he said that he had the passion to change the state of transportation after the collapse of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU).
"Everything that we have done in terms of introducing mass transit or whatever, we have not been able to replace GPRTU," he told Kojo Yankson, host of the show.
Mr Andani said that the idea was not only to improve GPRTU but its stations, vehicles and the client experience.
He disclosed that the plan did not go through but he still has not given up on the dream to improve urban transportation.
"I spent the first three years of my time, in Stanbic Bank trying to work with them to achieve this dream. I still have it as a big dream and if I do have the opportunity I'd like to see what I can do," Mr Andani.
