Actress turned singer, Emelia Brobbey, has followed through with her promise and released her second single and her first for the year 2020.
The song titled ‘Odo Electric’ features RuffTown Records signee, Wendy Shay. The duo first teased the song on their social media handles mid-January.
‘Odo Electric’ produced by MoG talks about a lady, who had given up on love after a brutal heartbreak, only to have another guy sweep her off her feet.
Emelia Brobbey references one of Ghana’s most popular song ‘Befi Mano’ by Blackstone in her song.
Compared to her first single ‘Fa me Ko’, Emelia Brobbey's new song is more up-tempo guaranteed to get her fans on their feet.
The actress released the visuals for Fa Me Ko late 2019.
The song generated a buzz and had some people intrigued, however, many Ghanaians were not impressed with the song nor Emelia Brobbey’s vocals.
The actress, in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, in 2019 said that although the negativity her song faced was a bit much, she was not going to be influenced by them.
She promised to train her vocals and make a comeback in 2020.
