The National Theatre last Friday played host to twelve beautiful, intelligent, eloquent and elegant ladies who were in the search for the crown to represent Ghana's premier university. The theme for this year's pageant is “Beauty with Brains,” and after a keenly contested pageant which went late into the night, Miss Jennifer Afua Appiah,a first year student pursuing psychology, social work, religion and theatre arts clinched the ultimate crown, placing Mariam N.D. Abbey and Susie Quagraine as first and second runners up respectively. Miss Talent went to Clara Boadua ofori, a level 200 student of the university of Ghana business school, after a wonderful display of talent as a DJ on the turntables, one to the surprise of all. Spectacular music performances came from Nana Quame, Tinny, Praye, Kwabena Kwabena and a host of others.
