Automobile dealer, SMT Ghana, has announced the introduction of its latest heavy duty machinery to aid the bauxite industry in the country.
The all-new Volvo FMX Truck and Trailer, the company says, is built purposely for bauxite business, as much to make the transportation of the black mineral easier.
It comes with a 440 horse power engine capacity and a 40 cubic metre Semi-Trailer Galvasi Bucket
In an interview, the Managing Director, Denis Pylyser, said as a subsidiary of SMT Group with 22 branches across Central and West Africa, his outfit was reputed for providing quality heavy duty trucks.
He explained the introduction of the new Volvo FMX Truck and Trailer was to boost the bauxite industry, in that its quality and durability were without question.
“Aware of the bauxite business is booming in Ghana, we decided to introduce this new truck and Trailer which is the most quality you can get anywhere,” he said.
The Sales Director of SMT Ghana, Nicolas Turpin, indicated that with the new truck, productivity was guaranteed and investments, justified.
He, thus, urged especially mining haulage companies in the country to go for the Volvo FMX Truck.
