Dr Kwabena Duffuor, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, is leading a six-man delegation to attend the World Bank (WB) and IMF Spring Meetings in Washington DC.
A statement from the ministry said on Tuesday that the delegation would also meet the senior management of the WB, IMF, IFC and the US Treasury and attend the 15th Commonwealth Ministerial Debt Sustainability Forum also in Washington DC.
Other members of the delegation are Dr Paul Acquah, Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BOG), Dr Ernest Addison, Head of Research, BOG, Nana Juaben-Boaten Siriboe, Chief Director at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Mr Kwabena Oku Afari, Director Policy Analysis and Research Division and Mrs Yvonne Quansah, Acting Director, Aid and Debt Management Division of the ministry.
The joint World Bank-IMF Development Committee and the IMF's International Monetary and Finance Committee hold meetings to discuss progress on the work of the Bank and the Fund each Spring.
