The Local Government Service has announced further measures Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) must take to curb the spread of coronavirus.
In a statement copied to Joy News, the Service said the overcrowding nature of offices must be addressed in line with already stipulated measures announced by the Ghana Health Service.
“In this regard, RCCs and MMDAs are encouraged to adopt other working practices to ensure that our offices are not overcrowded.
“Without compromising the quality of work output, the following flexible working arrangements have been recommended: flexible shift system/Time Off In Lieu (TOIL), encourage staff to take annual leave and working from home if possible.”
