As the case count for the novel coronavirus increases in Ghana, so has the influx of speculation triggering confusion as to the appropriate measure necessary to aid the containment to the pandemic.
The latest extension of the lockdown by a week, also emphasises the need for the authorities to embark on aggressive tracing of contacts and testing for the disease, a move which has seen a number of impediments.
From crowded markets displaying disregard for social distancing protocols, to carriers evading quarantine over myths that counter information from health experts.
In this light, General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association Dr Justice Yankson is set to provide answers from an expert's perspective to satisfy Ghana's curiosity on the fears and facts surrounding the pandemic.
He joins host Emefa Apawu tonight from 7:30 pm on Joy News.
