Staff of The Multimedia Group have expressed appreciation to all workers at the frontline in the country's fight against Covid-19.
Staff of the company have produced a series of videos in which they say "thank you" to doctors, nurses, cleaners and all health workers leading the charge against the virus.
As various sectors across the globe play their respective roles in containing the spread of the virus, it is difficult to ignore the effort of the individuals who face the deadly virus head-on.
Health workers at the country’s facilities have, since the confirmation of Ghana's first case, remained relentless in providing care to keep the virus at bay.
They are caring for infected patients, treating suspected cases and educating the public on ways to prevent infection.
And all this is in spite of reports of inadequate supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for the frontline staff including security personnel.
What this means is that they are placing their lives at serious risk as they work hard to keep the rest of the nation safe from the virus.
It is for this reason that the management and staff of The Multimedia Group decided to put together a series of videos, expressing their gratitude to the frontline staff for their diligence, dedication and all the sacrifices they continue to make to keep the novel coronavirus at bay.
In the videos, staff across all the subsidiaries of the media conglomerate including journalists, technicians, administrators, presenters and transport personnel, among others, encourage the frontline workers to remain steadfast and rest assured that their sacrifices are recognized and appreciated.
Ghana currently has 1,550 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 155 recoveries and 11 deaths as of April 26, 2020.
