Many have lost their lives through suicide.
The WHO has shown that a person dies every 40 seconds by suicide worldwide. In fact, the average number of people dying to suicide annually is 800,000.
This is sad and calls for actions to alleviate or curb the situation.
Suicide, Not a Solution, a Spoken word poem by Poet Negus is designed as a sequel to the skyrocketing number of suicide cases in the world.
He uses the piece to advise people against the zero sum effects of suicide, whilst emphasizing why they should value their lives above all tribulations and challenges.
The piece is well interwoven to both educate and entertain. Enjoy.
