Three people have been rushed to the hospital after being involved in a road accident in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
According to JoyNews reporter Saeed Yaqub, a fully loaded articulated vehicle skid off the road and rammed into two houses at Aboabo No.1 Junction in Kumasi.
The vehicle involved is a registered Burkina Faso licensed truck which was bound for Accra. It is reported that the truck developed a fault on its journey and backtracked several metres before falling on its side, leaving people running for their lives.
Eyewitnesses say a building's roof was being mended by a resident of the area when the truck crashed into it. He was later rescued from the rubble by members of the community.

“The story building collapsed on him and we managed to remove him,” an eyewitness, Faisal Saidu said.
“I came out and saw a woman running for her life. She was screaming and just after that, the truck fell. We [community members] were watching and saw the truck enter the house,” he added.
