The Ghana Health Service has confirmed 559 new cases of Covid-19, sending the cumulative figure to 28,989.
The number of recoveries have also increased by 430 to send the total number to 25,331, a rate lower than the confirmed cases.
This leaves the active cases at 3,505 as the number of fatalities remain at 153.
The Director-General of the GHS, Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, briefing the press at the Ministry of Information Press Centre in Accra Tuesday, said the figures are from a total of 353,752 tests conducted.

The numbers are also from samples taken from June 23 and July 17, Dr. Kuma-Aboagye said.
Greater Accra remains the epicentre of the pandemic in the country with 2,159 of the active cases while Ashanti follows with 569 active cases.
