A flagbearer hopeful of the People's National Convention (PNC) has unveiled his plans for the party should he be given the nod to lead the party in the 2020 polls.
David Asibi Apasera said Ghanaians will witness among other things; an increase in the number of Parliament Candidates who will represent the party in the general polls.
He is also optimistic the national results which will be obtained by the party will reflecting an interest in the policies presented by the PNC.
He stated that even if the party doesn’t win political power in the 2020 general election, its performance will not be abysmal
The PNC Flagbearer hopeful, David Asibi Apasera in an exclusive interview with JoyNews after meeting with some regional and constituency executives of the party stated that he has what it takes to change the fortunes of the party considering the enormous political experience beneath his sleeves.
David Apasera debunked the notion that the PNC is poor and that there is no way they can win political power.
He said all political parties are poor and have the capability of becoming rich provided there are in power.
''When we returned to constitutional rule in 1992, the PNC was by far stronger than the NPP in my constituency, today NPP is having greater numbers why?'' he queried.
Nobody uses personal resources to run a party, we raise resources, funds and if you are holding power you raise more resources,'' he added
He was of the belief that the PNC will be better having him as its leader.
Supporting the former Bolgantanga Central Member of Parliament with his campaign is the former Deputy Minister of Health and MP for Sissala, Moses Danibaah who is also vying for the position of National Chairman.
Mr. Moses Dani Baah said the party is targeting to win 5 seats in the 2020 general election.
