The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the New Juaben South Michael Okyere Baafi has presented 1,612 mathematical sets to candidates writing the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the constituency.
Beneficiaries of the mathematical set are candidates from 41 Public Schools within the constituency.

In all 2,261 candidates from public and private schools are writing this year's BECE in the New Juaben South Municipality comprising of 649 candidates from private schools and 1,612 from the public schools.
Mr. Michael Okyere Baafi urged the candidates to eschew any form of examination malpractices to avoid cancellation of their papers.

He tasked the candidates to revise their books and release themselves from all forms of examination phobia whiles they commit to prayers for retentive memory.
Michael Okyere Baafi tasked the candidates to observe all the Covid 19 protocols as they write their examination in order to stay safe.

According to him, the Nana Akufu Addo government has work tireless to make education accessible to all Ghanains irrespective of one's background.
He said even though the free Senior High School policy would see all of them through to the SHS, it is incumbent on them to put in their best and have good grades.

He hinted government has already invested so much in their education and preparation towards this examination.
Adding the provision of free meals, payment of registration fees among other interventions.

Mr. Okyere Baafi urged those who have passion for technical and Vocational education to chose that path and persue their dreams because Technical and Vocational education is the surest way to make one independent after school.
