Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia says Ghanaians should ignore NDC flagbearer John Mahama whom he described as "an archbishop of promises."
Questioning the former President's credibility, he said Mr Mahama is wasteful with the resources given to him to manage on behalf of the country and does not deserve another shot at the presidency.
Speaking on Asempa FM's Ekosiisen political talk show Wednesday, he said the NDC's so-called 'People's Manifesto' is full of empty campaign promises which will never see the light of day like previous ones in 2012 and 2016.
“Mahama has said he was not going to promise again. But today, he keeps promising, and he is the Archbishop of promises. That is why I am saying that the manifesto promises by the NDC is an empty one.
"They have been in power for eight years, but they were unable to pay simple ¢70 million teacher trainee allowances. But now, they are promising US$ 10 billion Big Push. They don’t have the credibility.
"If they have delivered in government, they will know how things are done. The manifesto is not credible”, Dr Bawumia told host Philip Osei Bonsu.
