Karpowership Ghana Company Limited has presented Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the La Bawaleshie Presby School in East Legon as part of its 'Stay Safe Campaign.'
The PPEs which were handed over to the returning Junior High School (JHS) 2 students is to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The donated items included nose masks, hand sanitizers, tissue papers, liquid soaps, among others.
Corporate Communications Specialist at Karpowership Ghana, Sandra Amarquaye explained the purpose of the donation was to re-emphasize the importance of the continued adherence to the Covid-19 safety protocols.
She said, “recording low figures of Covid-19 cases shows we are still not out of the woods yet and the virus is still out there."

"Therefore, we must continue to adhere to the safety protocols to win completely the fight against the pandemic," she noted.
The headmistress of the La Bawalashie Presbyterian School Naa Shormey Nortey expressed profound gratitude to Karpowership Ghana for the support.
She assured the items would be put to good use to enhance teaching and learning activities in an environment that's safe for teachers and students.
The regional Representative at Ayawaso West Education Directorate Linda Anim said the directorate will continue to ensure the school remains safe for the students.
