Over eight thousand, four hundred and forty-two teachers have failed the mandatory Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination organized by the National Teaching Council.
This number represents 30.75% of the total 27,455 candidates who sat for the exams.
According to a press release issued by the Council and sighted by JoyNews, some 19,013 candidates representing 69.3% of the total candidates also passed the exams.
"Results of some candidates have been withheld pending investigation," the statement added.
The National Teaching Council again revealed that the results of the October 2020 exams will be released on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
The results according to the Council can be accessed on the NTC online portal via exam.ntc.gov.GH.
“Use either pins given during registration or examination index numbers,” the statement explained.
The Council also urged all candidates to print their respective provisional certificates.
