To help stem the tide of Covid-19, Dalex Finance has donated an amount of GHS 20,000 to support the 1 Million Face Mask project.
The 1 Million Face Mask project is an initiative by Fashion Connect Africa (FCA).
FCA is a Ghanaian based garment production factory which seeks to help curb the spread of Covid-19 among the less privileged.
"We need to do everything in our power to stop COVID-19 from wreaking havoc in underprivileged communities across the country. We hope the distribution of these masks will help provide a much-needed line of defence," said Yaw Acheampong Adjei, Manager – Dalex SWIFT and Corporate Communications for Dalex Finance, as he presented the cheque.
The CEO of FCA, Ms. Victoria Michaels received the cheque on behalf of FCA and expressed her profound gratitude to Dalex Finance for the support.
“We are touched by this kind gesture and the speed with which Dalex Finance has supported this project. We pledge to produce and distribute these masks very quickly as COVID-19 is on a steady rise”, she added.
Dalex Finance is a wholly-owned Ghanaian and operated Specialized Deposit-taking Institution (SDI) licensed by the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
