The Civil Society Platform on Oil and Gas (CSPOG) has issued a warning of an imminent collapse of the country’s petroleum industry.
CSPOG urges the Ghana National Oil Corporation (GNPC) to take its drive towards operatorship seriously and to begin negotiations with potential partners towards arrangements that will help to fast track the achievement of this ambition.
This comes after the Government’s indication during the 2021 budget statement to introduce some petroleum levy.
Tonight on PM: Express, Evans Mensah and his panel of experts will discuss the situation and a possible solution to the matter.

Guest on the programme includes Chairman of Oil and Gas Sector AGI, Past Vice Chairman of CSPOG and Past Vice Chairman of PIAC, Kwame Jantuah, Former Deputy Energy Minister, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam and Chairman of the Civil Society Platform on Oil and Gas.
