The board of the 3Music Awards scheme honoured the legendary Osibisa band at the 4th edition of the show.
Radio and TV personality Vannesah Gyan read a tribute to the band while Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah presented the Award to the group.
But, it did not stop there. KiDi, Mr Drew and Kofi Jamar took the stage to perform two of the legendary band’s music.
They performed their rendition of The Warrior and Dance the Body Music. To look the part they dressed in ’80s inspired outfits and performed on an ’80s inspired stage.
The new school acts were praised by many Ghanaians on social media for delivering a captivating performance.
This is how you pay homage to your music greats! Performance of the night for me. God bless Mr Drew & KiDi. God bless Osibisa! #3MusicAwards21
