Comedian DKB has filled a police complaint against actress Rosemond Brown for defaming him.
This comes after the actress, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, in a video revealed that she has been receiving calls with many people calling her ungrateful for failing to show appreciation after donating some monies to her mother and son via comedian DKB.
Prior to Akuapem Poloo's release, the comedian took it upon himself to raise funds for the actress's son.
He created artwork with MobileMoney and bank account (for amounts worth ¢1,000 and above) numbers, which he shared on his Facebook page.
However, Akuapem Poloo insists that she has not received any money donated to her through DKB.
According to her, one Mama Alice claimed to have given DKB ¢4,000 to be given to her but haven’t received any money from him and every effort to reach him has proven futile.
Her revelation triggered reactions from some Ghanaians criticising the comedian of capitalising on Akuapem Poloo's unfortunate situation to enrich himself.
Reacting to that, the comedian born, Derick Kobina Bonney denied the allegation stating that Akuapem Poloo is defaming him over some missing ¢4,000 donations made to her.
Taking to his Instagram page, the comedian posted a picture of his police statement and vowed to drag the issue till his name is cleared off the allegation.
He also expressed his regret in helping Akuapem Poloo while she was in jail.
“You can either be ungrateful or a defamer, but you decided to be the two. I swear on every sweat, blood and insults I have received.
"The extent to which I went to support is the same extent I will drag you over this. It ‘go over’ you. Be careful when helping a Ghanaian. I’ll really regret everything.”
