It will not be out of place for Dr Bawumia to declare his intention to run for the 2024 presidential election, owing to his political record.
Dr Bawumia has all it takes to lead the country and has every fundamental right accrued to any Ghanaian to become the next president.
If he could be made a running mate and subsequently a Vice President, why can’t he continue as President?
He has the fundamental right as a member of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, to aspire for any position in the party. It is now left for the party to accept or not, it is now left for the party to decide who flags their ship as presidential candidate come 2024.
Whether he has bought me or not, whether people are against it or not, I am sure he has everything to lead this nation.
This is a man who has contributed tremendously to what I call Digital Ghana; he is a man who I see as the Messiah of our time that has a lot of resourcefulness.
Whichever way it goes, what I look at is merit; who can take us to the place that Ghana ought to be.
If you find that in Mahamudu Bawumia, why not, he doesn’t have to come from the South. He does not need to be a foundation member of NPP.
Because none of the people aspiring to govern Ghana in this fourth Republic were part of the founding fathers of Ghana. Who said ONLY founders of groups are entitled to lead same?
